Though I run the risk of once again betraying my geographic bias, I'm extremely excited about a potential ballot issue in the next round of elections in California.
Near and dear to many college students hearts, signatures are being collected to put the legalization of marijuana on the ballot in 2010.
Being a libertarian sort here, I'm absolutely in favor. There are a million and one reasons why marijuana should be legal, but you don't come here to hear me rehash that argument.
With any luck, this will be on the ballot and pass by a big fat margin, and maybe we can start winding down this drug war once and for all.

ReHASH...I see what you did there.
I'm here all week, folks.
I don't even smoke and I'll probably vote yes on this.
