I wouldn't knock the sig eps too hard. There are reasons to get the vaccine and reasons not to, but healthy college age males probably need itthe least. Good for them for refusing the dogma.
I just think their characterization of themselves as risk takers because of it is pretty dumb. I don't get the H1N1 vaccine! I text while driving! It's like a parade of dumb things to be proud of.
What makes pandemic flu particularly worrying is its propensity to seriously sicken or even kill seemingly healthy young adults. Add to that a college dorm and you've got some pretty compelling risk factors.
Maybe SigEp could have done better at rush if they marketed their immunity to swine flu to freshmen.
